Antonius Josephus (de Witt) de Wit is geboren in Noord-Brabant in 1775
Antonius Josephus de Wit werd geboren op of in de dagen voor 24 mei 1775 in Zeelst in Nederland. Hij was de zoon van Henricus de Witt en Maria Catharina de Weijs en werd gedoopt op 24 mei 1775 in de rooms-katholieke kerk van Zeelst.[1]
Op 17 augustus 1806 trouwde hij in Gestel met Maria Elisabeth Verhagen, nadat ze op 2 augustus in ondertrouw waren gegaan.[2] Hun kinderen waren onder andere:
- Arnoldina Maria de Wit (1807-1865)
- Maria Catharina de Wit (1809-1879)
- Johannes Franciscus Antonius de Wit (1822-1889)
- Maria Cornelia de Wit (1825-1883)
In 1827 werd hij burgemeester van Zeelst. Hij zou dit ambt tot zijn dood in 1846 vervullen.[2][3][4]
Antonius Josephus overleed op 2 juni 1846 in Zeelst, 71 jaar oud.[4]
